let it snow let it snow let it snow...

Me and Carson are visiting my family in Washington right now (until Christmas eve) and we are so excited because it is snowing!! we went out to get Carson snow clothes as soon as we got here. We got to feed the ducks at the lake at my parents house. The snow was not sticky enough to build a snowman today we will have to try tomorrow. I tried to make a saucer, using the bottom of the exersaucer and string but Carson didn't dig that too much.. here are a few pictures of some of the fun we are having :)

End of November til now updates :)

So after thanksgiving Carson Brian and I went Christmas tree shopping and got a huge noble christmas tree at HOme Depot, after attempting to go to a "you cut" place only to find out, that Nobles dont grow here and we would have to get one at HOme Depot (because they are shipped from Oregon). Carson attempted to help decorate but he was more interested in throwing the "balls" aka ornaments.

I love our tree though it makes our house smell so good.

I had a amazing Ugly Christmas Sweater Party (1st annual) that was a BLAST!! Every one that attended had a great time. I dont mean to brag but it was the most fun I have had at a party all year. Special thanks to my mom for donating some quality sweaters, I made pumpkin pie and cookies. Also HUGE thanks to my mom and my aunt carrie for all the help cleaning my house for the big day :). I made my family a roast in the crock pot for dinner that my friends at the UCS party finished :).

I cant wait till next year's party, brian had so much fun he wants to make it happen 4x a year!

my brother John did an amazing job as Mr. Potter in "its a wonderful life" at Vangard university. My mom flew down just to see it. WE were all so impressed how great and convincing his old man is. I got John to sign my program at dinner afterwards.

We ended last weekend Sunday at Julie and Dave's wedding reception which was a blast Carson danced with every lady their he owned the dance floor!

The Computer Crash

So Last week just as I was about to submit my 10 page final my computer crashed. Luckily most of my precious pics and videos are either on this blog or myspace or facebook. So all is not lost. and lucky for me I have a genious brother LUKE who has insta lled a new hardrive on my computer with lots more space and has also installed all the most upto date programs I will ever need!! I was forbidden by Brian to blog until after my finals were finished and then once they were finished I did not have a computer for 2 weeks due to the crash :( ... so I am back and off of school so new pics of the most recent events will be up soon!!

P.s. I am in WA right now with cArson and there is snow everywhere! we got all his snow clothes yesterday so today we can play in the snow and build a snowman, I will try to post those pics tonight!!

My first day subbing!!

OKay I have to work on my masters so I have to keep this post short. But I had my first day subbing today at Robert C. Fisler school in fullerton. It is a brand new school only 6 years old didn't even know it existed. It is way nice I would love to work their some day. I subbed for a first grade class, I didn't get the call until 8:20am so I rushed over there (school started at 8am) A teacher from another class was teaching the class until I got there. I had no lesson plans I just had to go with it and try to make sense of the teachers code scribbles of what she wanted to accomplish for her self. It would read PB 160-167 and I had to figure out what the heck that meant. Luckily there was a really nice first grade teacher next store who was helpful and let me know what she was teaching for the day and what she thought Miss Kim would want me to teach. I had an overall good day, only made one girl cry. because she had to move her clip down.. I mean she was histerical and cried through her entire lunch recess. But she redeemed herself by the end of the day and moved her clip back up. One student had a full time aid, this aid helped me with the routines of the day and what was and was not allowed. I Let the first graders choose a sticker out of a box of stickers I had on their way out of class at the end of the day and wrote a 5 page note to the teacher explaining what we did. I hope I get called back to sub again at Fisler, hopefully by next time I will have cute business cards to leave and cute letterhead to write my notes to the teacher on!

I am so excited to finally be a sub!
OH and when I got home on my counter Brian left me a rose and a card that read "Hope your 1st day went perfect! love you Ms Worsham

such a good surprise :)
